UNITED COUNTIES of SD&G, Ontario – On Feb. 29, 2020- March 1, 2020 Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement in SD&G and intercepted several vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicles were impounded and their driver’s permits seized for seven days in accordance to policy and were charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).

– Feb. 29, 2020 at 8:35 p.m. (South Dundas) a vehicle was stopped traveling 159km/h (100km/h zone) (Hwy 401) – 26-year-old driver from Lasalle, QC.

– March 1, 2020 at 2:33 p.m. (South Dundas) a vehicle was stopped traveling 159km/h (100km/h zone) (Hwy 401) – 33-year-old driver from QC.

– March 1, 2020 at 4:59 p.m. (South Stormont) a vehicle was stopped traveling 136km/h (80km/h zone) (Hwy 138) – 57-year-old driver from South Stormont.
