CORNWALL, Ontario – The City of Cornwall is resuming its Arts in the Park summer concert performances at the bandshell in Lamoureux Park. The summer concert series was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The City of Cornwall announced the resumption of Arts in the Park on Tuesday, Aug. 3 with the following acts and dates:
- Wednesday, August 4: Revival
- Thursday, August 5: The Chesterfields
- Wednesday, August 11: Grace and Eric Willison
- Thursday, August 12: Steve Gravel Band
- Tuesday, August 17: Ruby Tuesday Dixie Band
- Wednesday, August 18: SwitchGear
- Thursday, August 19: Castles
- Wednesday, August 25: Carey B Grand & The Cadillac Kit-Katz
- Thursday, August 26: The Shiners
The concerts are free, but residents are reminded to bring a blanket, chairs, and their own food or drinks.
Additionally, the City of Cornwall is asking that residents observe the following COVID-19 protocols:
- Keep your distance from other music-lovers,
- Wear a mask if you’re going to be in close contact with others,
- Wash or sanitize your hands often,
- Stay home if you’re waiting on COVID-19 test results, showing COVID-19 symptoms, or have recently been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
