Beatrice Hutton; her brothers Ivan (Daphne), Everett (Grace); her loving partner Dan McKenzie; husband Robert (Bob) Evans; and her dear grandson Adam Evans. Yvonne will be missed by her brother Vernon Hutton (Norma) of Ann Arbor, Michigan and by her children Kathleen Nemeth (Merv McBride), David (Milena Radusin) and Scott (Lori Blinn). She leaves behind her grandchildren Cory (Katharyn), Stephanie (Mike), Kelly, Matthew, Grace, Gordie, Ellen and two great-grandchildren Sloane and Maeve as well as many nieces, nephews. Yvonne had a tremendous love of sport and dance. In her youth, she competed at track and field in London and held that city’s youth high jump record while regularly competing and winning against older athletes. In the 1950’s, as a majorette, she had the privilege of being the lead majorette for a Toronto Argonaut Grey Cup parade. Active in the theatre community spanning over four decades, Yvonne cherished her time spent with friends and fellow members of Glen Productions, The Cornwall Little Theatre and the Upper Canada Playhouse. The family is especially indebted to the exceptional care provided by the extensive members of the Cornwall medical community including members of the Champlain LHIN and would especially like to thank Karen Levac of the Cornwall Mental health services. Yvonne’s family also wishes to thank the management and staff of Chateau Cornwall Retirement Residence for their exceptional care. Many thanks go to the caring staff at the Glebe Centre during her brief stay. As an expression of sympathy, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice. Cremation has already taken place and a private ceremony with family only will be held at a later date.
