BRUNET, Brenda (née Mitchell) – It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Brenda on Saturday October 12, 2019 at the age of 58 years. Loving mother of J.P. Brunet (Melanie), Tara Brunet (Jason Leblanc); and second Mom to Melinda Summers (Kim). “Granny Bean” to Selena, Isabelle, Dominic, Sophie, Vena, Hope, Bella, Mikayla and Logan. Loved daughter of Alice Cryderman (née Benoit) and her companion Harry King; and the late Rudolph “Peewee” Mitchell. Dear sister of Joanne McPhee (Richard), Brian Mitchell, Hilton Cryderman (Tammy), Eric Cryderman (Cathy), Sandra Wart, Elaine Swerdfeger, Garry Cryderman.; and chosen sister of Debbie and Wendy. Dear sister sister-in-law to Nicky, Denis, Carol, and Anne. Also survived by her former husband Pete Brunet (Marife); many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; as well as her Bingo and card playing friends. She will be greeted in heaven by her daughter Jessica; soulmate Roy, cousin Gay; her grandparents Napoleon and Lea (née Maheu) Mitchell, and Henry and Mildred (née Branchaud) Benoit and her step-father Arnold Cryderman. Resting at the Boulerice Centre of Wilson Funeral Home, 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Tuesday October 22 nd from 9 AM until the time of funeral. The Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday October 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall.
