A gala celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Walker ClimateCare was held at the Best Western last Wednesday evening, May 11th.
The gala was attended by Walker ClimateCare team members, their families, ClimateCare head office personnel, owners and leaders from the 30 other ClimateCare companies across Ontario, their vendor partners, dignitaries from the community, benefactors of the WeCare Gives Back program, and some valued clients.
In addition to helping their customers, Walker aims to improve the community through its WeCare Gives Back program. The program enables a monthly donation to a local charitable cause. Recent recipients include the Bereaved Families of Ontario, Akwesasne Cancer Support Group and the Big Brothers & Big Sisters group.
As Walker ClimateCare continues to celebrate this year, Tom Rand and team seek to continue to be a leader in their field and one of the preeminent workplaces in the region.
The company was founded in 1972 and is currently located at 1714 Vincent Massey Drive.
