CORNWALL, Ontario – In early November, the City announced that they were seeking volunteers to maintain outdoor rinks.

Since the announcement, the status of various rinks has been determined.

Unfortunately, this season there will be no rink at Gallinger Park and Broadview Park. Boards have been set up at Alexander Park and King George Park, but there are currently no volunteers offering maintenance.

The following rinks have active volunteers: Dover Heights Park, Grant Park, Mattice Park, Memorial Park, Menard Park, Optimist Park, Reg Campbell Park and Terry Fox Park.

The City has set up the boards and has conducted the initial flooding but volunteers are required to maintain each rink.

If you can help provide outdoor fun this winter, contact Lorne Taillon at 613-938-9898 ext. 2 or ltaillon@cornwall.ca.
