CORNWALL, Ontario – Members of the First Baptist Church of Cornwall, ON have donated $300 towards a Rachel’s Kids foster program this holiday season.

At the request of a parishioner, Rachel’s Kids was asked to give a presentation about the organization’s initiative, Shoes That Grow. The program allows a member of Rachel’s Kids to purchase shoes for children in need as their feet grow.

The program relies on the donations of community members. With a donation of $300, a total of 20 shoes can be provided to children. The donation will be made to children in Sri Lanka in 2019.

“Thank you Ted Castle for organizing this fundraiser. We are very grateful for your continued support,” said Kim Lauzon, Executive Director of Rachel’s Kids.
