CORNWALL, Ontario – The Celebration Sleigh Raffle in support of the 2018 United Way/Centraide of SD&G Community Campaign held their Grand Prize last Friday December 14th at Canadian Tire.
This year’s sleigh was valued at over $3,000 and would not have been possible without the generous support and sponsorship from BMO Bank of Montreal. A giant thank you is also extended to Baxtrom’s Your Independent Grocer and Canadian Tire who graciously provided the United Way/Centraide of SD&G space to sell raffle tickets.
Just in time for the holiday season; Shannon Donkers is the lucky winner of $1,000 cash, $1000 in gift certificates from Baxtroms YIG $250, LCBO $250, Beer Store $250 and a gas card $250, plus an Apple iWatch and some holiday treats.
“The hours leading up to the draw were incredibly busy! Individuals were heading into Canadian Tire for their last chance to buy tickets! It is great to see that this holiday raffle is still a big hit in our community!” said Meagan Bingley – Director of Operations.
