CORNWALL, Ontario – Hundreds piled in for Cornwall Community Cheer’s first annual Fall Craft and Vendor Show this Saturday, Oct. 14.
Taking place at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School, the main level was filled to the brim with a huge assortment of local vendors.
“We are extremely pleased with the turnout,” said committee member, Debbie Fortier. “It takes a committee to come together and pull something like this off, but I’m sure we’ll just get bigger and better.”
With food, fashion, and furniture among the numerous treasures to be found at the event, Fortier says that shoppers were pleased with the ample selection.
“We have had very positive feedback from the vendors in attendance, and we’re seeing a nice flow of people coming through,” said Fortier.
Held in support of the group’s various community projects, Fortier says she was overwhelmed with the community’s support.
“It’s a win/win for our vendors, and for attendees who are starting their Christmas shopping,” said Fortier. “That’s the wonderful part of it – supporting local people within the community.”
