CORNWALL, Ontario – Generally most businesses will be closed on Friday, April 14 and Sunday April 16, but it varies case by case.
City of Cornwall
City offices will be closed Friday, April 14 and Monday, April 17.
Friday garbage collection will be pushed to Saturday, April 15. Garbage collection will be on its regular schedule on Monday, April 17. Monday will also be the first day of collection for leaf and yard waste.
There will be no Cornwall Transit service on Friday, April 14. Cornwall Transit will be on its regular schedule for the rest of the long weekend.
The Aquatic Centre will be closed on Friday, April 14 and Sunday, April 16. The Aquatic Centre will return to reegular hours on Monday, April 17.
The Civic Complex will be open for walking and jogging every day except Saturday. Offices will be closed Friday, April 14 and Monday, April 17.
The Benson Centre will be open.
The Cornwall Public Library will be closed Friday, Sunday and Monday.
Food Basics
The Food Basics on Second Street will be closed Friday, April 14 and Sunday, April 16.
Baxtrom’s Independent Grocer
Baxtrom’s will be closed Friday, April 14 and Sunday, April 16.
LCBO
The LCBO on Second Street will be closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday. The LCBO on Brookdale Avenue will be open on Monday, April 17.
The Beer Store
The Beer Store will be closed on Friday April 14 and Sunday April 16, but will be open Monday April 17.
Shoppers Drugmart
The Shoppers Drugmart on Brookdale Avenue will be open all weekend. The Shoppes Drug Mart on Second Street will be closed on Friday, April 14, Sunday and Monday.
Cornwall Square
The Cornwall Square will be closed on Friday, April 14 and Sunday April 16, but be sure to stop by on Saturday, April 15 to see the Easter Bunny from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
