CORNWALL, Ontario – The Annual Pancake Breakfast was held Saturday, March 24 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Cornwall. The event included breakfast, a silent auction, and live performances by local artists and dancers.

Organized by Rotary International, all funds from the event return to the Rotary Club to fund projects both locally and internationally. “We help where we can,” says organizer, Tom Wallace, who shared that the origins of the breakfast were and are a thank you to the community, where all are welcome. Items for silent auction are donations by local businesses, and all workers and performers volunteer their time. Local talent is just as delighted to be involved in the celebration of community. Diane Seaver, of the Boathouse line dancers, shares that this is their second year performing at the Pancake Breakfast.

Organizers of the event of over thirty years are grateful for the hard work and dedication of volunteers and performers, as well as the opportunity to offer locals a community atmosphere to share good food and company.
