Public Assistance in possible fraud case

CORNWALL, Ontario – The Cornwall Community Police Service are seeking to identify the man in the photo above in relation to a possible fraud case.

“The Cornwall Community Police Service is asking for public assistance in identifying a man involved in an incident at a Pitt St. business on March 23, 2018 at approximately 7:30 p.m.,” the police said in a media release.

The man is described by witnesses as:

  • East Indian decent
  • Possibly a strong accent
  • 5’5” tall
  • Brown eyes
  • Wearing a blue hat & green shirt
  • Possibly driving a white or silver Nissan Altima

Police are asking anyone with any information to call Cst. Payment at (613) 933-5000 ext. 2436 or ext. 2404 to leave anonymous information.
