CORNWALL, Ontario – The Ottawa Jr Senators showed why they’re one of the top Jr A teams in Canada with a 5-2 win over the Colts Thursday night at the Ed Lumley Arena.

The Jr. Senators came into the game 6th overall in Canada an now own a record of 35-6-1-2 (73pts).

JD Pogue (14) and Keegan Mulhearn (12) each had a goal for the Colts.

The Jr. Sens outshot the Colts 33-26 with Michael Carr taking the loss.

The Colts record drops to 22-16-4-1 (49pts) and leaves them in a tie for 4th overall in the CCHL standings.

The Cornwall Toyota Hardest Working Colts Player was the newest Colts defenceman Alex Wilkins.

The Pizza Pizza Three Stars were First Star Finn Evans (OTT), Second Star Owen Guy (OTT) and Third Star Keegan Mulhearn (COR).

The Colts next game is Friday night against the Braves in Brockville. Game time is 7:30pm.

The Colts next home game is Thursday, January 18th when they host the Pembroke Lumber Kings. Staff and students from CCVS will be honoured. Game time is 7:30pm at the Ed Lumley Arena.
