Peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria.
Beloved husband of Marie Thérèse Théoret (née Vallée). Loving father of Eric Théoret, Philippe Théoret, and Patrick Théoret (Christiane). Proud grandfather of Sebastien Therrien, Brandon Bourbonnais, Jimmy Bourbonnais, Louvy-Anna Théoret, Lukka Théoret, Liya Théoret and Leeam Théoret and great-grandfather of Jaycee. Reunited in heaven with his guardian angel and granddaughter Naomi Théoret.
Survived by his sisters Rita Beaupré (late Rolland), Pauline Martin (late Don), Edna André (late Claude) and Thérèse English (late Réal); and by his brother Raymond (Madeleine).
Predeceased by his parents Georges and Philomène (née Larocque) Théoret; his sisters Georgette Lalonde (late Éloi), Jeanne Boisvenue (late Donat) and Marie-Ange Hamelin (late Maurice); and his brothers Léo (late Jeannette), Rhéal (late Rose) and the late Roger (Lucy).
Aimé’s smile and gentle nature will be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law; his many nieces and nephews; and by his many friends.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects by way of a Drive-Thru Visitation to be held at The Théoret Family Century Farm, 2429 County Road 34 (at Lochiel Rd.), Fassifern on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Visitors will be allowed to stop their vehicles in a designated visiting area to offer their condolences to the Théoret family; but due to social distancing regulations, visitors will not be allowed to exit their vehicles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Paroisse Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 am. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the church starting at 10:00 am. Please be advised that Covid-19 precautions are still in effect; we respectfully request that attendees wear a mask and that physical distancing measures be observed both inside and outside of the church. Interment will follow at Cimètiere St. Alexandre, Lochiel.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Glengarry Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
