Passed away at home on the family farm on Friday, June 5, 2020. Alan Petrie of Bainsville; age 62 years. Cherished father of Mackenzie and Mackayla Petrie both at home. Survived by his supportive and caring wife Heather Petrie (nee Hodgins). Younger brother of Dale Petrie of St. Catherines and dearest brother of Dawn Reynolds (late Marty) of Victoria, B.C. Beloved son of Agnes Petrie (nee MacDonald) and the late John “Sonny” Petrie. Loving uncle of Alison Kalani (Amir), Patricia Fowler (Kyle), and Alexx Petrie, Taylor and Nate Reynolds, John, Campbell and Finlay Ross, Frances, Fraser, late Finnan, and Fergus McDonell, and Hannah and Emily Suddard. At Alan’s request there will be no visitation or Funeral. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Addiction and Mental Health Services, 850 McConnell Ave., Cornwall K6H 4W2 or to the Glengarry Fish and Game Club would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Alan a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
