LUGG, Albert – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Albert George Lugg on Wednesday November 18, 2020 with his loving family by his side in Kanata, Ontario, (formerly of Cornwall) at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband and companion of Rosemary (née Hilton) Lugg. Loving father of Wayne (Susan), Brian (Kathy), Judy Lugg and Shelley Lugg (Harold). Dear brother of Jack (late Dorothy), Jean Van Wyk (Albert) and Joan Bounds (Glenn). Predeceased by his parents George and Annie (née Wagstaff) Lugg and three siblings Arthur (late Carol), Harvey and recently Violet Christianson (late Bruce). Cherished grandfather of Cameron (Jen), Meghann (Ken), Laura (Ian), Bonnie (Amy) and great-grandfather of Hailey, Charlie, Zachary Albert and Katie-Beth. In keeping with his wishes and also in light of the situation with COVID-19 a private service will be held. In the spring, a celebration of Albert’s life will be held with the interment of his ashes. If so desired, Memorial contributions to Knox St. Paul’s United Church, Cornwall would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall.
