LALONDE, Alex G. – At the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site (JMP) on Tuesday April 30, 2019 a few weeks short of his 86th birthday. Beloved husband of the late Reina (Dube) Lalonde. Dear father of Denise Desforges (Roger), Janet McNamara (Bryan), Karen Labelle (Gary) and the late Larry Lalonde. Sadly missed by 7 grandchildren, Gilles, Daniel (Lindsay), Jennifer (John), Tracy, Christopher, Meagan (Andre), Matthew and by several great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Viola (St. Denis) Lalonde. Family and friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Friday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30am. Funeral Mass Saturday May 4, 2019 at Ste-Therese-de-Lisieux Catholic Church at 11am followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, St. Columban’s Parish Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
