McDONELL, Alexander (Alex) – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alexander J. McDonell at Parisien Manor on Thursday January 21, 2021 at the age of 97 years. (Inspector for Dept. of Agriculture ROP).
Beloved husband of Freida (née Feek) McDonell and the late Aileen Casselman. Loving father of Mary Wattie (Joe), Margaret McDonell and Philip (Wendy). Dear brother of William R. (late Monica), late Lillian Munro (late Gordon), late Margaret McDonell and late Eileen McIntosh (late Wallace). Predeceased by his parents Philip and Catherine (née McIntosh) McDonell.
Cherished grandfather of Emily McDonell.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions there will be a private family controlled visitation with chapel service. Interment St. Mary’s Parish cemetery at a later date. If so desired Memorial Donations to the St. Mary’s Church, Williamstown or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
