ROBERTSON, Alexander – Mr. Alexander John Robertson at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Friday April 19, 2019 at the age of 88 years. Loving father of Kimberley Robertson (Corey Lalonde), and Heather Robertson-Gagné (Dr. Owen Gagné). Survived by his former wife Beverley Robertson (Johnson). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Lexa, Carter, and Mackenna. Dear brother of Marion Rose (Paul Scott) and sadly missed by nieces Carolyn Kubas (Bill), and Cynthia Hacking (Mark), and Howard Jr., Jim, and David Rose. Predeceased by his brother Hugh, and his parents Archibald and Christina Agnes (née McLennan) Robertson. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, on Friday April 26, 2019 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. A funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday April 27, 2019 at 11:00AM in St. Andrew’s United Church, Martintown, with Reverend Lois Gaudet officiating. Interment to take place at a later date in North Branch Cemetery, Martintown. If so desired, contributions in his memory to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
