BOURGON, Aline (Lapensée) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at the age of 72. Loving wife of the late Patrick Bourgon. Precious mother and best friend of Christina Garlough (Lloyd Jr.). Precious and beloved grandmother of Adam (Allison) and Ashley (Carson) and cherished great-grandmother and “little buddy” of Serenity and Scarlett. Sadly missed by her brothers Arthur (late Rose), Maurice (Lorrie) and Michael (Julie). Aline is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Ida (Dixon) Lapensée, her infant daughter, her brothers, Henri, Ronald and Marcel, and her sisters, Jacqueline and Claudette (late Luc) and her loving and companion dog, “Boss”. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) in Cornwall. Respecting Aline’s wishes, a private by invitation only funeral service will be held. Rite of Committal at Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the OSPCA-SDG would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Brulée, Dr. Haddad, Dr. Miller, everyone at the North Dundas Medical Clinic, the staff at the Cornwall Community Hospital and everyone that was part of Aline’s care during her journey.
