Allen David Smy
April 10, 1950 – March 31, 2021
Al passed away peacefully in Duncan B.C. He was born and raised in Cornwall Ont, where he discovered his love for hockey. When Al was 25 he took a road trip across Canada to Vancouver Island where he fell in love with the West Coast and where he made his new home. He was a skilled electrician, mechanic, farmer, gardener, and had a great eye for photography. He lived a simple, but very meaningful life by enjoying the present moment. Al will be forever loved and deeply missed by his wife Charmaine (Duncan BC), his sister Susan (Richard) (Cornwall), brothers Rickie and Bruce (Cornwall) and Daughters Karma (Vancouver) Coral, and Oriana (Duncan B.C.). Al has 5 grandchildren Cameron, Emily, Claire, Preston, and Alexis. He also has 2 step daughters Andrea Walker (Vince) and Gina Dias, with 6 step grandchildren Kimberley, Cody, Dan Kate, Sjonye, and Dawson. Al also has 3 Nieces an 1 nephew Sarah (Gatineau), Melissa, Kayla and Robbie (Cornwall). He will be forever loved and missed dearly by all those who met Al, as he had an infectious smile that would light up every room he went in. We miss you, Rest in Paradise.
