Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Cornwall Hospice on Sunday, March 17, 2019. Amédée Garreau of Alexandria, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Dianne Garreau (née Lacombe). Loving father of André “Rosco” Garreau (Mitch) of Alexandria and Hélène Girard (Robert Blais) of Glen Norman. Proud grandfather of Amanda Garreau (Zach Gatehouse) of Edmonton, Patrick Garreau (Cat Cross) of Alexandria, Jessie Girard of Ottawa, Naomi Girard of Alexandria and Courtney Menard of Alexandria; and great-grandfather of Océane Garreau Gatehouse, Isaak Girard and Ella Girard. Dear brother of Jean-Paul Garreau (Laurence) of Alexandria, Cécile Garreau of Bainsville, Rémi Garreau of Green Valley, Joe Garreau (Jeanne D’Arc) of Green Valley and Jeanne Garreau of Bainsville. Predeceased by his parents Médéric and Roseanna (née Levert) Garreau, as well as several brothers and sisters.
