LEGUE, Amelia (née Tyo)– peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday January 28, 2022. Born in Williamstown, formerly of R.R. #1 Long Sault Ontario, now from Cornwall. Dear daughter of the late Arthur Tyo and the late Ethel Taillon. Beloved wife of the late Gordon “Mickey” Legue. Loving mother of Joyce Sayyeau (Keith Marsolais) of R.R. #1 Long Sault, Debbie Elliott (Rob) of Bourget , Dale Legue (Betty), Gordon Legue Jr. and Dave Legue (Dawn) all of Cornwall. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Tammy Laframboise, Dale Sayyeau, Robbie and Samuel Elliott and her great grandchildren Keisha, Marie Rose and Thomas Laframboise and great great grandchildren Colton, Lily and Alexander Laframboise. Dear sister of Doris Desrosiers (Ray) of Ottawa. Predeceased by one son Elwin “Poncho” Legue, her sisters Edna Cooper, Grace McPherson, Hilda Tyo, Frances Belmore, her brother Frank and several brothers and sisters-in-laws. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, 20 Seventh Street, (613-932-8482) on Wednesday February 9th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday February 10th from 9 a.m. until the time of Funeral. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday February 10, 2022 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Spring interment.
