MAINVILLE, Anita (formerly MacDonald) – Mrs. Anita Lillian Mainville (née Cartier) of Cornwall, formerly of Avonmore, peacefully at Cornwall Hospice on Monday December 9, 2019 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Daniel MacDonald and, by a second marriage, the late Marcel Mainville. Loving mother of Sandra, Brian (Claudette), Theresa (Gary), Gary (June), Wayne, Donnie (Debra), and Wilma. Dear Nana of 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Oliver and Rose Alba Cartier, brother Leo Cartier, and infant brother Serge. The family would like to thank the staff of Chateau Cornwall for their help and kindness over the past six years and Cornwall Hospice. In keeping with Anita’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Private family service. Memorial donations to Hospice Cornwall or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
