KROON, Ann – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Oma and Great Oma on Sunday July 26th at the age of 88, peacefully at home surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. Born in Holland, her family overseas will forever remember her as their beloved Annie and tante Annie. Ann was a long time former volunteer with the Auxiliary to the St. Joseph Continuing Care Centre and Meals on Wheels. The family would like to thank the following for their exceptional care and compassion: Dr. Cook and his healthcare team, Dr. Poilly and her colleagues Dr. Di Cintio and Dr. Leigh (palliative care) Nursing and healthcare teams from Saint Elizabeth and Bayshore (home health care). Cremation has taken place. As per Ann’s wishes there will be no service or visitation. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
