Peacefully in her home with her family by her side on Friday, April 16, 2021, Anna Maria Janssens (nee Geens), age 82 years. Beloved wife of 60 years to Peter Janssens. Loving mother of Lucas, Patrick (Melanie Masa), Dany and Christine Ashton (Cameron). Proud grandmother of Richard Ashton (Laura Blewett) and Alexandra Ashton. Dear sister of Charel Cleynhens (Marie Louise) and the late Irma Bosmans (Joris). Predeceased by her parents Amandus Geens and Paulina Van Craen also by her stepmother Regina Van Gestel. Friends and relatives may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday April 23, 2021 from 11 am to 1 pm. A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Catholic church. Interment to follow in Parish Cemetery. Those who wish to attend the controlled visitation must call the Funeral Home, Mon. to Fri. between 9 am & 5 pm, to register your attendance. Masks and physical distancing will be required.
