MORRIS, Anne Mavis (Dewar) – Of Finch, died peacefully in hospital on November 20, 2019 at the age of 89, in Ottawa, with her daughter and niece by her side. Beloved wife of the late Felix Morris. Loving mother to Kelly (Richard) Morris of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother to Drew Barker and Ashley Morris-McIntyre. Dear aunt to Mark (Sue) Barclay and Laurie Barclay of Ottawa. Predeceased by her daughter Cheryl McIntyre, by her sister Fern and her brother Billy. She will be missed by her many pupils over her 66 years of teaching. Join her family for a social Celebration of Life on Friday, December 6 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm upstairs at the Finch Community Arena. A spring burial will take place in Kirkhill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tagwi Secondary School for the establishment of a memorial bursary. Special thanks to the dedicated staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa.
