The family is saddened to announce the passing of Anne at Riverdale Terrace Retirement Home in Cornwall, Ontario on 10 November 2023, at the age of 98. Anne was born in Cardiff, Wales and came to Canada with her family in 1957, residing for a long time in Prescott before moving to Long Sault to be closer to her family. Anne was predeceased by her husband of seventy-two years, Samuel James Watkins, her parents James and Ellen Crimmins, her siblings Catherine (Tom), James (Mary), Eileen (Norman), Terry, brother-in-law Trevor, nephew Mark and life-long friends Dene and Doug Evans. She is survived by her children Lawrence (Joan), Christopher (Gail) and Anne (JP), grandchildren Gideon, Nancy, Kimberley, Kyle (Sabrina), Corey (Sarah), Katelyn (Jason) and Kirk (Trish), her great grandchildren Jake, Keira, Lincoln, Paige and Emme, many nieces and nephews including Colin (Ann), sister-in-law Rowena and dear sister Mary. The family would like to thank Dr. William, Dr. Yu and the staff at Riverdale Terrace. Cremation has taken place and Anne will be interred with her husband at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery at the foot of Wales Road in Long Sault on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 2:00PM.
