Annie Williamson Kertland (Dillon)

At the Palace LTC on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Annie Kertland (nee Dillon) of Alexandria; age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Ray Kertland. Loving mother of Robert Williamson (Mavis), Karen Williamson and Gordon Williamson. Cherished grandmother of Jason Williamson, Colleen O’Hara (Ryan) and Danny Williamson (Roslynn) and proud great-grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Frank and Mae Dillon (née O’Carroll). Predeceased by siblings Sheila, Frank and Billy. She is survived by two brothers Brian (Sylvia) and Carl (Maureen). Annie was a proud mother of her family’s accomplishments and loved hearing and the sharing about their adventures. She was employed at Community Living Glengarry, where she enjoyed being able to instruct clients in life skills and touched many families with her caring ways. Annie enjoyed playing golf, curling, creating needlepoint and other crafts as well as cooking for her family. The family thanks the staff at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital and the Palace LTC for their compassionate care that mom received. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) Saturday April 10, 2021 from 10 to 11 am. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am. For those who wish to attend the controlled attendance visitation or service, must call the Funeral Home, Mon. to Fri. between 9 am & 5 pm, to register your attendance. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
