It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur Joseph Andre in Cornwall on Tuesday September 14, 2021, born (September 14, 1947) in St. Andrew’s West, Ontario. Surrounded by his loving family at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of the late Hilda (née Lalonde) Andre. Predeceased by his parents Arthur Andre Sr. and Viola (née Morpaw) Andre. Loving father of Shelly Mair (John), proud papa of Kurtis-Arthur Mair. He is survived by cherished sisters and brother Dorothy Cornett (Albert), Shirley Archambault (Rene), Doris Forgues (Joe Lascelle), Charlene Jarvo (Wayne) and the late Marie Johnson (John), Fred and Viola Andre. Arthur was also predeceased by his loved brothers and sisters Rene, Albert, Irene Fletcher, Lorraine Moise, Jeannette Hanson, Leonard and RoseMay Ellis. Also survived by Many nieces and nephews. If so desired, Memorial Donations in Memory of Arthur to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Francis de Sales Church, 434 Second Street, West Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment at a later date.
