Benoit “Ben” Plourde
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ben Plourde surrounded by his loving family on December 22, 2023 at Hospice Cornwall at the age of 80 years. Loving companion of Diane Bourgon (née Villeneuve). Dear brother of Mario Plourde (Nicole), Ghislain Plourde (Lydia), Ginette Plourde, Francine Dumas (late Angelo) and Christine Plourde (Jean-Marc Fillion). He will be greatly missed by his couch buddy Muffin and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his spouse Beatrice Giroux, his parents; Jean-Baptiste and Anne-Marie (née Santerre) Plourde, his son Robert Plourde and by his brother Gratien Plourde. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. William’s Church, Martintown on Friday, January 5th, 2024 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial Donations in Ben’s memory may be made to Hospice Cornwall.
