Beverley Glive
November 23, 1939 – September 6, 2021
GLIVE, Beverley Ann (née Cleary), went home to meet Jesus on September 6, 2021 at age 81. She passed away peacefully at Cornwall Community Hospital.
Beverly was born to Alexander and Annie (Wall) Cleary in Montreal. Later in life moving to Bainsville with her family and then to Cornwall. She was the faithful wife of Philip Glive and loving mother to her son John and daughter Gayle (Rodney). Proud grandmother to Candice, Farrah, Cody and Joel.
Predeceased by her brothers Kevin (Jenny), Joseph (Viola), Albert (Florence) Garry, Patrick and Sean. Survived by her sister Linda of Montreal. Beverly will also be greatly missed by her many nephews and nieces.
Beverly will always be remembered for her strong commitment to faith and her love of music. Over the years she held the role as a mother to many foster children whose lives she influenced. She enjoyed her last days visiting with those who had spent time in her home.
Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. A Graveside Service will be held at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery in Ingleside on Saturday, September 11, at 11:00am.
