Beverly Grace Allaire
ALLAIRE (née PAPIC), Beverly Grace – Mrs. Beverly Allaire of Cornwall, Ontario, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, at Carefor Hospice Cornwall.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, forever missed by her mother, Leila (née Duffey) Papic; her children, Justin Allaire (Emily) and Stephanie Allaire (Mark); her sister, Colleen Andrews (Bruce); and her cherished grandchildren, Andrew Allaire, Juliet Allaire, and August McKittrick. She will remain forever in the heart of her beloved partner, Robbie Bingley. Bev was adored by her nephews, nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many friends who were family. Bev was predeceased by her father, Gus Papic.
Bev found joy in life’s simple pleasures—vintage shopping, paddle-boarding on the St. Lawrence River, and tending to her beautiful garden. She delighted in the scent of lilacs in bloom, the warmth of a summer day, and a homemade raspberry pie enjoyed at breakfast. With an effortless sense of style, she dressed to kill and carried a radiant presence wherever she went. Selfless and full of light, she made every room brighter simply by being in it.
With immense gratitude, the family wishes to thank Dr. Menon, Dr. Leigh, and the dedicated nurses, staff, and volunteers at Carefor Hospice Cornwall for their exceptional compassion and support during this difficult time. The family also extends their appreciation to the staff at Cornwall Community Hospital (JMP 1) for their care.
A celebration of Bev’s life will be held in the warmer months to honour her bright and beautiful spirit.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Lahaie and Sullivan Funeral Home West Branch (20 Seventh Street W, Cornwall, ON 613-932-8482).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Carefor Hospice Cornwall.
