SOMMERVILLE, Brent- Suddenly, on Saturday, July 3, 2021. He was 57. He leaves his loving wife of 28 years, Dale (Adams) Sommerville. Loving father of Tracy Lauzon (Steven) and Todd Burelle (Stephanie). Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Zachary, Austin, Evan, Brianna, Autumn, Melina and Emrick. Survived by his sister Bonnie Higham (Lance). Brent is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Brent’s fur babies Nanook and Mishka will miss him dearly. He is also a cherished brother-in-law. Predeceased by his parents, William and Anna Helen (Brisebois) Sommerville, his brothers, William, James, Kenneth, Robert and Richard, his niece Kelly Beal (Higham) and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Lester and Lorraine Adams. Family and friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Sunday from 2-4 pm & 7-9pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions those attending are require to wear a mask or face covering and attendance will be controlled. A private family graveside service at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery to be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the OSPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
