SMITH, Bruce – Mr. Bruce Smith peacefully, at home on Thursday February 13, 2020 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Micheline Bergeron. Loving father of Veronique Bergeron (Shane) and Julien Bergeron (Julia). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Mason and Cooper Levac. Dear brother of Ken (late Joan), Gerald (Marjorie), Harold (Patricia), Stuart (Lorraine), Stephen (Faye), Shirley White, Verna MacDonald (Fred), and Linda Martin (Gordon). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Vera (née DeWolfe) Smith; and his siblings Donald, Eric, Margaret Hambleton and Florence Freeman (Jim). Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2020 at the Army/Navy/Airfare Club at 14 Marlborough Street, Cornwall (corner of Montreal Road) from 12 Noon – 2 PM. Interment to take place at a later date in Salem United Church Cemetery, Summerstown, Ontario. If so desired, contributions in his/her memory to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
