Carmen McGregor (née – Campeau)
April 10th, 1945 – May 14th, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carmen Ann McGregor (nee Campeau) on May 14th, 2025 at the age of 80 in Cornwall.
Beloved wife of the late James (Jim) McGregor (1998).
Loving mother of Lorraine (Laurie) Pilon (Marc) and Lynn – both of Ottawa.
Adored grandmother of Eric (Timmins) and Kyle (Ottawa).
Cherished friend of Stephen (Steve) Furniss (Cornwall).
Carmen will be missed by her sister Pierrette Lalonde (Ronald) (Dollard-des-Ormeaux), brother Roger (North Lancaster) and sister Marie (Ottawa), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended McGregor Family, and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Alcide and Clara Campeau (nee Beaudette) of North Lancaster, and her niece Cynthia (Normand Leroux) (Les Coteaux)
Carmen was a retired, long-time Bell Canada employee in the Cornwall business office.
As per her wishes, Carmen has been cremated and a committal service was held for the immediate family.
Special thanks to Bayshore Health Care for the home visits, and to Carefor Hospice Cornwall for the care provided to Carmen and her family during a very difficult time.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Carefor Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
Carmen’s gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
