RIVIERE, Catherine (née Freund) – At the Woodland Villa, Long Sault on August 7, 2019 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband Edward (2001), sons Brent (1971) and Wayne (2014). Special friend of Steve Prokosh. Survived by her son Ron (Linda), daughter-in-law Iris Grandchildren Brock Riviere (Meghan), Shannon Partridge (Chris), Stacy Foley (Bill), Julie Wilson (David), Ryan Riviere (Jennifer), and 13 great-grandchildren, brothers Joe Freund (Norma), Mike Staub (Gwen), sisters Frances Kempf (Frank), and Betty Steiner (late John). Predeceased by parents Frances and John Freund, step-father Martin Staub, a brother Martin Staub Jr., sisters Mary Ann Heinimann (late Marcus), and Mary Ann Schweder (late Karl). Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, where visitation will be held on Tuesday August 13, 2019 from 12 – 2:45 PM. A celebration of Catherine’s life will be held in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday August 13, 2019 at 3:00PM. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
