At her home with her family by her side on Saturday, August 8, 2020. Cecile Angelina Lavigne (nee Massia) of Alexandria; age 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Archie Lavigne. Loving mother of Micheline (Darrin Wood), Michel (Marcy), Guy (Anne-Marie), Linda Larocque (Michael), Richard (Lynn), George (June), Jeanne Nixon (Tommy) and Gerard Brunet (Diane). Predeceased by her parents William Massia and Anna Duval; and by her two sisters Germaine Brunet and Laurette Sauvé. Cherished grandmother of Patrick, France, Ashley, late Jacques, Joel, Julien, Korina, Roch, Yves, Gina, Mathieu, Julien, Lee-Ann, Laurie, Francois, Penny, Amy, Tammy, Bobby-Jo, Lee, Nancy and Valerie. Cecile was proud of her 25 great-grandchildren plus one more to arrive soon. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd. 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at église Sacré Coeur. Interment of cremated remains will follow in the cimetière Sacré Coeur. Masks and physical distancing are required. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to le Calvaire a Ste Marie, Green Valley or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
