Charlene Townsend
Surrounded by loved ones, peacefully Charlene Townsend, beloved and proud Me-mere of Henry, Peter, and David; passed away at GMH on September 16, 2023. Ending a strong and painful battle with cancer, she now rests with her late partner Wayne MacDonald and parents Violet (O’Leary) and Fred Townsend.
Charlene was not only the proud grandmother to her boys she was the devoted and loving mom to Audrey MacDonald, partner Brenda Plante. Char will be fondly missed by her siblings Kathy Dicaire (late Remi), Kenny (Lynda) and Marlene (Richard Campeau). Cherished Yaya to Stephan (Guylaine), Nathalie and Alexane and many other nieces, nephews and cousins near and far.
Despite having cooked for half the town of Alexandria, her fondest memories were hosting friends and family around her table on Bishop Street.
