Charles J. Edwardson “Bud”

EDWARDSON, Charles James “Bud” of Cornwall, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 5th, 2021 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Lucille (née Desrosiers); they were married for 67 years. Loving father of the late Kevin (Brenda), the late Brian (Laurie) and the late infant Kimberly Ann. Cherished grandfather of Charles, Christena (Jonathan), Emily and James. Dear half brother of Lloyd O’Malley (late Carmel). Predeceased by parents James and Pearl (née Bliss) Edwardson. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bud was retired from an honourable career with Shell Canada, a former President and longtime member of the Kinsmen Club, former President and member of the Cornwall Men’s Club, and a dedicated member of the Cornwall Golf and Country Club. Bud enjoyed an active lifestyle with wife Lucille, they travelled extensively over the years and shared a passion for golf. He loved driving his car, tending to the yard, and was always up for a game of pool. He was a gifted storyteller and loved to share stories with those around him. He was a strong and hardworking man who was incredibly dedicated to his family and friends. He will be remembered for his integrity and generous spirit.
A special thank you to Dr. N.H. Shah (Cornwall) and Dr. Melanie Chin (Ottawa Hospital Division of Respirology) for their compassionate care. Due to Covid-19, services will be postponed. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
