July 1st, 1944 – February 9th, 2020

Christopher Thomas Gardiner passed away peacefully, with family at his side, on Sunday February 9, 2020 at the age of 75.
Born to the late Reverend Alan Gardiner and Louise MacMillan, he was the dear brother of his adored late sister Huda Scott (Dr. David Scott) of Orangeville Ontario.

Father of Louise Gardiner of London Ontario, and Remi Gardiner (Isabelle Breton) of Gatineau, Quebec, and cherished grandfather of Julien, Lili-Rose and Liam Gardiner.

He will be missed by his niece and nephews Katherine Scott (Robert Frater) of Ottawa Ontario, Hugh Scott (Carole Ricard) of Quebec City and Peter Scott of Orangeville along with their children Elizabeth, Emma, Charlotte, Harry and William.

He will also be missed by his great friend and partner in crime, Peter Morris (his wife Anna and children David and Emma) of Ottawa, Ontario.

Chris was born in 1944 in Victoria, BC. Relocating as a youth with his family to Port Dover, then London, Ontario where his father was an Anglican Minister. As an adult he lived in Ontario, Quebec and England, finally settling later in life in Orangeville, Ontario. Chris lived a colourful life in which he loved to travel and enjoyed culture, art, music and history.
Thank you to all the Doctors, nursing staff at Headwaters Health Care Centre (Orangeville) and special thanks to Karena Landers and Diane Laybourne who were there to support him.

Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a lunch at 283, Old Chelsea Road. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or St. Mary Magdalene Church, 537 Route 105, Chelsea, QC J9B 1L2, would be appreciated by the family.
