Claire Jeanne Daigneault
With profound sadness, the family announces the passing of Claire Jeanne Daigneault (née Parthenais) on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Center. Claire passed peacefully at the age of 90 and will be reunited with her beloved husband, “JP” Jean Paul Daigneault.
Claire was the dearly loved mother of Claude Daigneault (Denise) of Cornwall, ON; Jacques Daigneault (Joan Pion) of Montreal, QC; and Suzanne Wilson (Barry) of Fergus, ON. She was a cherished grandmother to Shawn (Nicole), Michelle (Brianna), Philippe (Amanda), Danielle (James), Marc (Anne-Josée) and Jeffrey (Lori), and loving great-grandmother to Ashlyn, Daxton, Loïc, Alexa, and Léonie. Claire was also the treasured sister of Raymond Parthenais (Brenda) of BC.
She is predeceased by her parents, Cléophas and Laura (née Dupuis) Parthenais, and her three sisters: Lorraine, Shirley, and Jeannette.
Arrangements are entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH 20 SEVENTH STREET WEST, CORNWALL, ON.
To honour Claire’s wishes, a private ceremony will be held at a later date.
