Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 6, 2020. Claire Marie-Ange Van Putten (nee Durivage) of Apple Hill; age 73 years. Beloved wife of the late Winston Van Putten. Loving and devoted mother of Gordie Van Putten (Christina) of Martintown, Nancy McKinnon (Michael) of Alexandria, and Brian Van Putten (Shawna) of Monkland. Cherished grandmother of Braedon, Caedmon, Graeson, Taegon, Sarah, Dean, Rory, Malcolm, Nathaniel, John, Mayah, Bethany, Angus, Darius, Chiara, and Magdalena. Dear sister of Lionel Durivage (Pauline) of Cornwall, and Lorraine DeRepentigny (Yvon) of Maxville. Predeceased by her brother Maurice Durivage (Lucie), and by her parents Paul-Emile and Noella Durivage (nee Villeneuve). Claire is survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Thursday from 9:30 am -10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Apple Hill on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 11 am. Spring interment in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Hospice or to CHEO would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Claire a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
