CHOLETTE, Clara (Durocher) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Monday, February 7, 2022. She was 88. Loving wife of the late Emile Cholette. Cherished mother of Allan Cholette (Janice), late Gabrielle (late Keith Stead), Jude Cholette (Shelley), Anne Cholette , Michael Cholette, Mary Lascelle (Luc). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, James Stead, Marc Cholette, Heavenly-Ann Stead, Marsha Cholette, Natasha Morin, Christopher Cholette, Jessica McNalty, Sara Lascelle, Caitlin Demontigny, Ashley Delorme and her 10 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Helene Delorme (late Gerald), Claudette Potter (Ron) and Theresa Levac (late Bruno). Clara is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Levi and Mary (Dore) Durocher, her stepfather Joseph Lapierre and her siblings, Arthur Durocher, Leo Durocher, Irene Cholette (late George), Richard Lapierre (Wendy), Pauline Piette (late George), Anna Boileau and Beatrice Gauvin (Denis). Cremation entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Family and friends are requested to assemble at St. Columban’s Church for Funeral Mass on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 11 am. Attendance will be controlled and those attending are required to wear a mask and maintain social distance. Rite of Committal at Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
