STANG, Clarence – Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of Eunice (née Stafford) and the late Berthe “Betty” (née Fontaine). Loving father of Lillianne Stang, Steven Stang (Heather), Peggy Lavallée (Claude), Donald Stang (Carol), Joanne Rombough (Craig) and the late Diane Stang. Stepfather of Bill (Julie)and Michelle (Patrick) . Loving grandfather of Jeffrey (Natalie), Corey (Natalie), Natalie (Pat), Joel (Summer), Jeremy (Hollie), Brandon (Nathalie), Ryan, Emily, Andrew and Shelby . Stepgrandfather of Nicholas (Gabi), Matthew (Anna), Bradley (Cortnee), Meagan and Vanessa. Greatgrandfather of eight. Also survived by many nieces and nephews Dear brother of Vincent Stang. Predeceased by his parents Palmer Stang and Margaret (née Quesnel) Stang, by his brother Lawrence and by his sister Lorraine Laurin. Clarence was a well-known musician and proud member of the Cornwall Music Hall of Fame. He was a long-time, dedicated Domtar employee.
Attendance controlled visitation will be held at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) on Thursday, August 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Friday, August 27 from 9 am. Mass of Christian Funeral will be Celebrated in St. Peter’s Parish on Friday at 11 am. Due to Covid Restrictions, attendance will be limited.
