Peacefully at the Palace Retirement Residence on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Claude Lajoie of Alexandria; age 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Anita Lajoie (née Lavigne). Loving father of Caroline (Sean), Paul (Sherry) and Marc Lajoie. Cherished grandfather of Curtis, Amanda, Courtney, Savannah, James, Crystal, Christopher, Christian, Sarah, Alexander, Dylan and Olivia and of 15 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Fernande Hebert (Richard), Rémi (Carole), Serge (Mariette), Diane (André), Guy (Marlene) and Luc (Johanne). Predeceased by his parents Edgar and Marguerite Lajoie (née Viau). Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to CHEO (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario) would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Claude a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
