Claudette Irene Dalley (nee Larin)

June 8, 1937 – January 12, 2022

Peacefully entered into rest on Wednesday January 12, 2022, at the Brockville General Hospital at the age of 84.
Claudette was the beloved wife of the late Wilson Hardy Dalley.
Dear mother of Allan (Linda), Bryan (Nadene), Ricky (Ginette), Tammy (Paul), and Robert “Bob” (Marion).
Cherished Grandmother to Matthew, Chantal (Mano), Keesha, Shannon (Alex), Cody (Tomlyn), Josh, Mike (Sarah), Brandon, Paige, Sam (Taylor), and Brock.
Beloved Great Grandmother to Gavin, Noah, Lochlan, Cedar.
Sister to siblings Bruce Larin ( Jackie), Norma Hamlyn ( Lorne), Ray (Sharon). Loving Aunt to many niece’s and nephew’s.
Predeceased by her parents Amedee (Joe) and Rose Larin, brother Carson Larin and sisters Fleurette Leroux and Anita Crites – Boulerice.
Claudette was born and raised in Cornwall, Ontario.
As a youth, she sang on the RCA released album La Famille Larin “Noel A La Campagne” which is still enjoyed today by many people of French heritage.
Claudette worked at various jobs during her life (Courtaulds, St. Lawrence Printing and UCDSB to name a few).
Her most cherished job was raising her 5 beloved children as well as caring for her husband. They were a priority in her life. She especially enjoyed being Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and would always cherish her time spent with them. She often regaled her family with many memories from the past.
She also thoroughly enjoyed watching her soap operas, hockey, curling and bowling.
Claudette had a passion for singing and performed at many family functions over the years along with her loving husband of 61 years, Hardy (Wilson).
She will be fondly remembered by all that were blessed to know her.
Funeral Services will be held on January 21, 2022 at Mackay Funeral Home, 416 Dibble Street West , Prescott, Ontario.
Due to Covid 19 concerns the funeral will be for immediate family only.
Interment Services will be held later in the spring at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. Date to be determined.
