DUPLANTIS, Clifford –Dad has moved one last time, he has gone to join Mom in heaven after 4 ½ years of longing to be with her. At the Glen Stor Dun Lodge on Sunday June 23, 2019. He was 97. Loving husband of the late Eileen (Jubin) Duplantis. Dear father of Brenda Larocque (late Jacques), Dawna Bamford (Bruce Pyke) and Verna MacIsaac (Stan). Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren, Linda (Dan), Helen (Keith), Kathy (Chris), Paul (Jennifer), Randy (Julie) and Shawn and 11 great grandchildren, Melanie, Kale, Alex, Ethan, Pheobe, Ava, Cole, Maëlle, Sadie, Rebecca and Sarah. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Ellen (Barrie) Duplantis and his siblings. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Wednesday from 3-5pm & 7-9pm and Thursday from 8:30am-9:30am. Funeral Mass on Thursday June 27, 2019 at 10am at St. Columban’s Church. Rite of Committal at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the St. Joseph’s Oratory would be appreciated by the family.
