Dale Villeneuve
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dale on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 86. Beloved husband of 63 years to Shirley (née Boisvenue). Predeceased by his two children, Cheryl Dufresne (Tony) and Terry Villeneuve. Special grandfather of Patrick Dufresne (Maria) and Krista Meehan (Lewis) and great-grandfather of Nolan Fenn and Liam Meehan. Cherished brother of Elaine of Ottawa, Wayne (Sherill) of Rockland and Garry (Carolyn) of Carlsbad Springs. Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Olga (née Delaney) Villeneuve, sister June Bray (Louis) and his in-laws Bill and Theresa (née McBain) Boisvenue. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street (613-938-3888). As per Dale’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Interment will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Carefor Cornwall Hospice.
