Daniel “Dan” Gunn
11 January, 1954 – 8 April, 2021
GUNN, Daniel “Dan”- It’s with great sadness that the Gunn family announces the passing of our beloved Dan. Peacefully, at home surrounded by his family, on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the age of 67. Dan bravely battled cancer for over 9 years and came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. He leaves his loving wife of 36 years, Monique (Filion) Gunn. Loving father of Joshua (Karen) and Sarah. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Chelsea and Emma. Cherished brother of Sheila Leger (Raymond), Darlene Laframboise (late Gordon), Billy (Lilly), Larry (Sharon Tyo), Diane, Alan, Carole Goyer (John) and Barry (Bonnie). Dan is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Margaret (Pidgeon) Gunn, and 2 brothers, Joseph and Garry. Beloved son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle to the Filion family. Special thanks to Dr. DiCintio, Steve, Sasha and other staff at Bayshore. Respecting the current COVID-19 restrictions there will be a private family Graveside service. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Agape Center or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Online messages of condolence may be made at www.lahaiesullivan.ca
